A concrete driveway running past the verandah of a goldfields-era brick and stone home

From concept to creation.

Concrete Concepts is Javier. One concreter, working across Bendigo and Central Victoria, doing the setting out, the pour and the finish himself.

A local concreter, not a call centre.

Concrete Concepts provides concreting services for Central Victoria and surrounds, from the Bendigo suburbs out to the blocks and paddocks around them. The work runs from a single path to a full driveway, a shed pad, an alfresco or a floor.

Most of it is for homeowners. A good part of it is for builders who need a slab formed square and level so they can keep moving, and for small commercial jobs where the floor has to take a beating. Whatever the job, you are dealing with the same person from the first measure-up to the final clean-up.

How a job actually runs.

01

You call or message

Tell Javier roughly what you are after and where it is. A photo of the space helps more than a paragraph.

02

He measures it up

He comes out, measures the area, checks the fall and the access, and talks through the finish that suits the spot.

03

You get a clear price

A written quote with the job spelled out, so you know what is included before anything is booked.

04

Prep, pour, finish

Base, formwork and steel first, then the pour and the finish, then the site left tidy behind him.

What gets the attention.

The base under it

Compaction, formwork and steel are what stop a slab moving later. It is the least visible part of the job and the part that decides how it ages.

Falls and drainage

Water has to go somewhere. Levels and falls are set out before the pour so a driveway sheds water away from the house instead of into it.

Turning up when he says

Concrete is one of the few trades where the timing is not negotiable once the truck is booked. Dates get held, and you hear about it early if weather moves them.

Where

Bendigo and surrounding areas, and across Central Victoria.

Who for

Homeowners, builders and small commercial teams.

When

Monday to Friday. Call or message any time and he will get back to you.

If you have a job in mind, the quickest way to find out what it costs is to have someone stand on the spot and measure it. That part is free.
